I’m making a corner cabinet and matching bookcases in oak. Progress has been slow, but the joinery is starting to come together…
Chessboard made out of Ash and American Black Walnut. Finished in shellac.
Little Tea Box in cherry with walnut splines and handle. Just using up some scrap wood
Just putting some shopmade oak dowels in to pin the mortice and tenon joints on my desk. Nice detail I think.
It’s not sophisticated cabinet making, but I’ve been making a tailor’s Clapper for me mum. It’s a block of wood you press on a seam as far as I can tell. High tech stuff!
Just building some toy cars for the kids. Modelled on DeLorean , sort of. Just need to do the paint job. One client has requested bright pink!
Oak board – could do a waney edge.
Unfinished board. Will darken when finished. Nice figure
Time to make some drawers. Both desk pedestals ready
Nice tight mortice and tenons 🙂
Desk pedestal coming together.
Nope, clearly going to be an end grain chopping board in oak and teak. End grain boards blunt knives less and last longer apparently!
End grain chopping board – unfinished.
Finished version in action.
